Decay

Image
Steve Largent action shot, I think the decay brings out the movement in the image, makes him look like the flash? Affect is amplified by the defender stumbling over himself in the same frame. Pavel Bure action shot, again the decay brings out the action. This was a hockey card, so I used a lot of AI fill to remove writing and stickers and it came out looking great.

Colourization

This wasn't challenging, but it was fun. My favourite is the "green shadows" (me and a friend's shadows in the grass) because of the soft look that pops from the grey and the nice shade of green. The toilet we found in an alleyway that day and it was just on its own and bathed in yellow light, which I think is a nice affect.

Might have to zoom in on it

One Hour

Challenge was setting up my camera on a tripod out my window and keeping it steady when I took the pictures. I'm satisfied with the final result.

Learning your phone

It seems my phone can only do two things from the Camera app which is exposure and tone/warmth. Lowering the exposure makes it look richer and more dramatic, while increasing the exposure makes it washed out and blurry. Tone/warmth seems like it helps you compensate for the lighting in the room.
